This is an outstanding opportunity to join Australia’s preeminent and oldest private wealth company. You will report into the Manager, Business Transformation, and will be responsible for managing the Advice Technology Enablement operational activities, including oversight of the wealth management platform (XPLAN), to support advisers in order to construct and deliver compliant advice to their customers. Training and communication will be a key part of your role, and particularly you will conduct workshops for stakeholders across the business. You will also have responsibility for proactively managing risk.

The key elements of your role will include:
  • Successful implementation of regular XPLAN platform upgrades
  • Ensure stakeholders are appropriately supported with XPLAN related queries
  • Ensure the vendor, channel partners and ATE team are appropriately supported
  • Manage the release of XPLAN functional changes (includes IRESS developed software, system and organisation specific configuration, Advice templates, integration layer with external sources/systems)
  • Consult on Advice technology related business initiatives and projects
  • Assist in the impact assessment and correction of XPLAN related issues
Success in the role will require knowledge of the Financial Advice construction process and will require skilled expertise in XPLAN, preferably gained while working in a financial planning practice or as a Paraplanner. Degree educated, you will have experience in facilitation of team meetings and planning workshops, and a proven ability to challenge, manage and communicate with stakeholders. You will also be experienced in managing the release cycles of software upgrades to XPLAN.
