This rapidly growing company is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to perform accounting, taxation and business control matters for all group companies. You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the Accounting and Administration departments and ensure the companies' finance function is organized and efficient and procedures and schedules are set.
In this role, you will be responsible for monthly closing, consolidation, and reporting. You will be overseeing AR, intercompany billing and loans, weekly payments, monthly payroll, and tax submissions. Moreover, you will ensure compliance with VAT, tax, statutory, and corporate (secretary) requirements. This is an international role governing subsidiaries in various countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and The Netherlands.
As the successful candidate, you should have

As the successful candidate, you should have
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines and preferably an ACCA or equivalent accreditation
- At least 5-10 years relevant work experience in similar positions including team management of 5 staff
- Experience in a multi-currency company, overseeing budgets of at least MYR 100 million or a similar value in other currencies
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred and knowledge of other languages is beneficial
- Good command of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, problem solving, planning and solution-oriented abilities
- A pro-active and team player attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong business sense and commercial acumen
- Experience in telecom- and routing industry and knowledge of Xero accounting software is highly beneficial
