Our client is a home-grown Singapore tech startup business, they are a young team that is ambitious, creative and hungry for change. They believe that theis greatest asset is always the people, and currently inviting an experienced Finance Manager to join the amazing business.

Job scope:
  • Manage and perform month-end closing and daily accounting operations
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports in accordance to financial standards
  • Oversee the relationship with external auditors, ensuring the timely closure and completion of the audited financial statements
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (tax agents, bankers, lawyers, corporate secretary) to manage internal control and procedures to ensure legal compliance with tax, statutory and company reporting
  • Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls
  • Identify current and future capability gaps and work towards bridging these gaps through performance management, staff development, strategic recruitment, etc
  • Support team to develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control


Candidate requirement:
  • Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager with relevant experience and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS")
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Candidates with SME and/or start-up experience preferred
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • Computer literacy including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with standard accounting software packages
  • Able to work under pressure and tight schedule in a dynamic working environment and with minimal supervision
  • Quick learner who can adapt well in a fast-growing environment while keeping excellent attention to detail
  • Multi-tasker; capable of working on multiple projects at one time, often under pressure
  • Awareness of administrative and financial regulations and how to apply them to daily workflows
