Finance and Firm Operations bring this to life by providing meaningful information and data that enables the business to create value for clients and achieve their goals. The work undertaken here covers a range of areas from managing important client and supplier relationships, to financial reporting and cost control, and advising across an array of financial areas and internal systems. The General Ledger and Accounting Projects team is an integral part of Finance, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger, and facilitating the month end close process.
As a Team Leader in our General Ledger and Accounting Projects team your impact will be seen by:
You are CA/CPA qualified and have experience leading a finance team. You are skilled in accounting and Excel, and hold an understanding of building structure in a changing environment with the ability to confidently communicate and build effective relationships at all levels.
Passionate about being at the forefront of change, you're ready to help our Finance and Firm Operations team support and enable all areas of our firm to deliver meaningful value to clients.
You're collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment. As a Team Leader in our General Ledger and Accounting Projects team your impact will be seen by:
- Building key client relationships, being the first point of contact for stakeholders, and assisting the Financial Controller on strategic projects and ad hoc queries from other business functions
- Managing and coaching the offshore and onshore general ledger team and overseeing daily activities.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading change implementation
- Supporting in-house tax team on GST, Payroll Tax, FBT, Income Tax, and other tax compliance matters.
