About The Role
Role Location: 347 Kent Street, Sydney NSW 2000
Role Type: 12 Month Secondment

As a Portfolio & ESG Manager (Fixed Income), you will be responsible for manager research, portfolio construction and day-to-day management of a select group of Fixed Income portfolios. The Portfolio Manager is required to lead the work on evolving and integrating Responsible Investment framework in manager research and portfolio management processes of portfolios managed by ANZ Wealth. You may also be required to participate and contribute ideas to the tactical asset allocation group. Providing communication support on investment related matters to various internal and external stakeholders is an integral part of the role.

You will be required to play a management role with respect to strategic and operational aspects of designated portfolios, and represent these portfolios with external and internal stakeholders.

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
  • Strong understanding of and relevant experience in managing a multi-manager investment process.
  • 10 years of ‘hands-on’ industry experience in portfolio construction and management of fixed income portfolios.
  • Direct experience/good understanding of strategic asset allocation process and tactical asset allocation strategies as applied to multi-asset funds.
  • Highly developed negotiation and influencing, problem solving skills, including tracking, reporting and escalating capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain and manage professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced communication – both oral and written – and presentation skills
