Transaction Manager

A worldwide distribution company based in Bolton are looking for a temporary Transaction/ Finance Manager to join their team of 10. The successful candidate will be supporting the company accountant and will be overseeing the accounts department.

A long standing and well established distribution company who are ever evolving are looking for dynamic and forward thinking candidate to join their friendly and longstanding team. Working in their Head office this role will involve posting and generating journals to preparing accruals and assisting with overseeing the finance department.

Description

Key duties for the Transaction / Finance Manager include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Posting/generating journals
• Reconciling leased asset schedules
• Assisting in preparing accruals schedules and looking into P&L variances for overheads
• Producing detailed line by line reports for key customers and suppliers
• Calculating and reporting on rebates
• Assistance in preparation of VAT Return

Profile

The successful candidate will be/ have:

• Previous experience in a similar role

• AAT Level 4 or AAT Qualified

• Excellent communication skills

• Be analytically minded

• Excellent Excel skills

• The ability to build relationships both internally and externally

Job Offer

Hourly rate £16.00 p/h - £18.00 p/h
