As Management Accountant, you will play a business-critical role within the Finance team, with primary responsibility for the largest line of business within the business. You will partner across the business to improve process.

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • You will maintain and monitor the Billing review controls utilising the model for the UK business, ensuring that all contract terms are identified and applied accurately
  • You will undertake revenue accounting following US accounting regulations
  • You will lead contract reviews and fair value analyses of multi element contracts
  • You will review and improve current process of revenue data entry into the data warehouse
  • You will manage the invoice authorisation process
  • You will assist with the collation of financial statements audit documentation and SOX controls sign off and audit (quarterly)
  • You will have involvement with, and occasional leadership of multi-functional projects and business initiatives
  • You will support the FP&A team in forecasting and budgeting
  • You will business partner with the Sales team and other stakeholders
  • You will identify and implement process improvement opportunities

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will:

  • Be a fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
  • You will have proven experience within a complex Management Accounting role
  • Have previous experiance working in a business handling more than £50-100 million+ revenue
  • Have an ability to juggle and prioritise tasks, often to tight timescales
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Formulas and V-Lookups

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Financials would be of high interest
  • Exposure to SOX and / or US GAAP
  • Project Management experience
