Description

This is a commercially focused role based in North Derbyshire, with both responsibility for preparing budgets and forecasts each month, as well as providing supportive and comprehensive partnership to receptive and engaged non-finance managers. Some of the key responsibilities are detailed below:

• Variable cost analysis

• Business partnering with non-finance managers to provide meaningful analysis

• Have oversight of the P+L

• Responsibility for the budgeting and forecasting

• Interpreting and explaining variances; to deliver analysis to stakeholders and operational management

• Cash flow projections to inform decision making

• Standard costing and cost analysis

• Develop junior members of staff

• Take the lead on Fixed asset management Project

Profile

This Senior Management Accountant position in Derbyshire is an ideal opportunity for a bright and forward thinking, qualified professional. To maximise success, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) - essential

• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering business

• Experienced using SAP - essential

• Ideally exposure to standard costing and asset management

• Clear communication style and the ability to challenge at all levels

• A hands-on, involved approach to work

Job Offer

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum, bonus scheme
