My client is seeking an impressive Part Qualified Commercial Finance Analyst to join their growing Finance team based in Dunstable.

Description
The Part Qualified Commercial Finance Analyst will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Commercial Finance Director and Senior Management team to provide value adding information to enable them to improve the commercial decisions made
- Support the monthend process
- Prepare budgets and forecasts including variance analysis
- Tracking of supplier agreements and reporting on the collecting of cash from those agreements
- Ensure the cash is collected in a timely manner
- Business partnering with the commercial team to improve the return on investment on their purchases in line with business targets
- Preparation of month end accruals, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Calculation, reconciliation and timely invoicing to facilitate cashflow of the company
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve disputes
- Regular and accurate finance reporting for example, stock reporting & analysis of key KPI's as part of monthend
- Continuing to improve the quality and efficiencies in the reporting and delivery of information
- Support finance team and the wider business with any ad hoc finance queries
Profile
The successful Commercial Finance Analyst will be:
- Part Qualified and actively studying ACCA/CIMA
- Strong background in finance to date with exposure to month end, high volume reporting and supplier queries
- Strong Excel skills with previous experience with a large ERP system
- Ability to learn fast and have an inquisitive nature
- Attention to detail
- Accurate and efficient in their work
- Professional work ethic and manner
- Confident in dealing with senior people across the wider business
Job Offer
The salary on offer is between £35,000 and £40,000 with a bonus scheme and study package, amongst other benefits.
