Our client is a an exciting, fast growing Retail/e-commerce business based in London. They are looking for an Interim Head of Finance on a contract basis.
Role:
Our client is looking for an established Financial Controller / Head of Finance to lead all aspects of the Accounting department.
You'll have proven experience in a similar role within a fast-pace and entrepreneurial environment ideally within the retail, ecommerce or FMCG space.
A strong leader and communicator, you'll have the ability to hit the ground running quickly.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, working with the Commercial Finance team to produce the monthly management pack
- Cash-flow reporting and forecasting short-long term on a weekly / daily basis
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Control of all bank accounts € / $ / £ and daily bank reconciliations
- Month-end journals including loan interest and payroll
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Quarterly VAT returns and EU Vat returns across multiple countries
- Oversee employee cash-cards, company credit cards and expense claims
- Oversee accounts payable and review the weekly payment runs
- Management and development of the team across Accounts Payable, Credit Control and Financial Accounting
Required Experience:
- Qualified Accountant with proven experience in similar role ideally within FMCG, retail or ecommerce
- Experience of working in an international business
- A fantastic people manager with the ability to lead and motivate a team
