Your new role
You will be an outstanding Senior Collections Officer with a solid track record of independently managing a mixed ledger of B2B and Consumer debt and providing analytical support. You will provide valuable liaison, analysis and customer consultation for a large and diverse ledger of customers from a wide range of socio-ethnic backgrounds;
- Reviewing the aged debtors reports and follow-up on overdue accounts
- Processing debtor cheques, EFT and credit card payments
- Providing customized or consolidated customer billing reports
- Investigating discrepancies
- Issuing refunds where necessary
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
What you’ll need to succeed
To thrive in this fast-paced, pivotal role, you will already possess solid experience in Accounts Receivable and high volume Collections, preferably from a both a social services and commercial setting. You will able to eloquently communicate customer solutions and negotiate in a logical and concise manner.
You will have a proven track records of positively influencing all stakeholders, communicating, consistently in an emotionally intelligent and culturally aware manner. You will possess solid Excel skills and strong ability to efficiently navigate computer systems.
What you’ll get in return
