Agora Talent are recruiting for a really high growth Asian hospitality group who have just expanded to the UK. Owned by a young entrepreneur this business is still just 5 years old yet the market leader in India and are now focused on establishing itself in London and the UK. Consequently the team is expanding and they are now seeking a strong Financial Controller to support the expansion plans.

Your responsibilities…
  • Provide continuous improvement in the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Completion of monthly and annual closing of accounts and generating MIS reports
  • Assisting the business to ensure timely payments against invoices
  • Building controls systems and supporting internal audit
  • Publish MIS on different key performance metrics that helps in identifying the gaps and new improvement opportunities
  • Execute compliance requirements for Fixed Assets tagging, Invoice processing etc.
  • Dispute Management through coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Through analytical review and trend analysis, track performance against weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual goals/targets, and provide performance insights
  • Gather, analyze and ensure accuracy of data
  • Business Partner with Transformation and Operations teams to influence the accuracy and effectiveness of the financial reporting
  • Assist in planning and prepare the annual budget and periodical updates of forecasts
  • Designing, evaluating, implementing, testing and deploying new processes and systems
  • Harmonizing key requirements of both finance controllership and business exigencies.
  • Liaising with various teams to design new processes, strengthening existing processes and identifying possibilities for automation of processes and systems.

In terms of you..

ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • High?levels?of?initiative?with?ability?to?deal?with?multiple?projects?simultaneously?with?conflicting?priorities.?
  • Strong numerical ability coupled with sound reasoning and logical deduction skills.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel.
  • Multitask oriented, organized, set priorities and meet deadlines and take pride in one’s work.
  • Can do attitude to roll up your sleeves, and get stuck in to help deliver tasks on a timely manner.
