The role of a Research Finance Administrator would be to support the team with preparation and approval of research contracts.

The client is a public sector organisation based in Birmingham looking to grow their accountancy department.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Research Finance Administrator includes the following responsibilities;

  • Assist and advise on pricing and costs for external contracts
  • Provide staff costings
  • VAT queries
  • Admin and clerical duties
  • Accuracy with exchange rates
  • Setting up contracts on the internal systems
  • Financial management of related accounts
  • Birmingham based

Profile

The successful candidate for the Research Finance Administrator will meet the following criteria;

  • Working towards a relevant finance qualification (such as AAT)
  • Minimum 5 years experience within a accountancy or admin role
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Great general computer skills including Excel
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent communication skills
