Freddie Mac?s Finance Division is currently seeking Financial Controller Professionals for multiple departments across the division. The hired individuals will work as a valued strategic partner to the business and will be responsible for handling monthly baseline accounting and financial analysis / reporting, managing effective and efficient controls, producing financial information for inclusion in board reports, news releases, and public financial reporting, etc.

Specific duties for the various departments include the following:

Investments & Capital Markets CFO (I&CM)
? Performing/reviewing daily and monthly validations/reconciliations reconciling between the sub ledger/general ledger to source systems
? Preparing/reviewing monthly and quarterly analyses for analytical reports or financial disclosures
? Supporting and coordinating the internal and external audit
? Supporting SOX documentation requirements

Single Family CFO
? Preparing and analyzing SF GAAP and Segment reporting
? Preparing reports in support of 10Q / 10K disclosures
? Running SAS programs and SQL queries
? Supporting ongoing SOX compliance activities
? Performing regulatory reporting, ad hoc work and/or Risks and Controls work, as needed

Corporate Controller (Internal Reporting)
? Prepare the profit & loss, balance sheet accounts and other financial reports for the various departments within the Finance division
? Provisioning timely, accurate and reliable financial information
? Preparing and posting general ledger journals, posting accruals, managing and controlling the fixed assets accounts, capital expenditures and payroll accruals

Qualifications for these roles include the following:

? Minimum of 2 years of experience accounting experience using GAAP
? At least 2 years of experience with financial reporting and financial analytics experience
? Bachelor?s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills
? CPA or CIA certification or progress towards certification
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Open to change, flexible
? Financial Services experience
