The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will be joining a friendly team on a interim basis and will be processing invoices, matching to receipt notes, cash allocations, processing payment runs. Furthermore you will be reconciling accounts and investigating and resolving accounts queries.

Description

The key duties for a the Purchase Ledger Clerk are:

  • Converting and processing invoices received in multiple currencies (GBP, USD & EUR) - training provided
  • Matching stock invoices to goods receipt notes
  • Liaising with various Department Managers for authorisation of expense invoices
  • Cash posting & allocation
  • Processing weekly payment runs
  • Statement Reconciliations
  • Processing petty cash receipts & staff expenses
  • Setting up new vendor accounts
  • Query resolution via telephone & email
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Assisting with Month end closure procedures
  • Scanning & filing
