Description

Management Accountant to manage consolidation and reporting process for the organisation. Responsible for all areas of financial reporting. Working with internal stakeholders to enhance Executive reporting, and to re position the financial reporting and support that your team provide to the organisation.

• Delivery of a set of management accounts at every month end, ensuring timely, robust and accurate delivery.
• Leading a team of 2 direct reports who manage a two teams, who are tasked with delivering the numbers, and provide support to the regional financial business partners across the organisation.
• Bringing a sense of governance and structure to the team.
• Driving for a financial close earlier than the organisation currently does, helping us to publish numbers earlier in the month, enabling quicker insight into financial performance.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a high level of experience in driving month end close and provided exec level commentary. The candidate will also need to have worked in organisations where links with multiple stakeholders are required in order to deliver and they must have a clear track record of effectively managing these stakeholders.

The candidate will also need to be a qualified accountant with extensive line management and business partnering skills.

Job Offer

By joining the organisation as Management Accountant, you'll receive:

• £50-55,000 basic salary
• 12 month contract
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• Up to 10% matched pension.

Our client is based in Trowbridge, which is commutable from Bath, Chippenham, Melksham, Devizes, Calne, Salisbury, Bristol, Swindon etc.
