Our client is a leading transport provider located in London's West End, a short walk from Euston station. Due to expansion across their accountancy team, an opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join.

Description

Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Management Accountant with responsibility for the following duties:

• Preparing revenue and cost statements
• Distributing statements to client contacts and addressing any queries raised.
• Preparing settlement transactions and submitting for payment.
• Working with and supporting the team in relation to the commercial terms of new agreements and their incorporation within client's statements.
• Regular reconciliation of statements to accounting balances and settled amounts.
• To assist in the production of the UK and Ireland Management Accounts and the presentation of the management information as well as day to day accounts tasks.
• Assisting the Head of Finance with both day to day accounts tasks (cash book/journal allocations and postings/ledger maintenance) and monthly accounts preparation work.
• Providing assistance and information to the Finance Team as the need arises.

Profile

The successful candidate:

CIMA/ACCA Part-qualified or Finalist

Experience with SUN accounting systems desirable but not essential

Prior experience in management accounting and impacting business decisions

Job Offer

Salary of £40,000-£45,000
