Financial controller job paying up to £110k plus bonus and benefits based close to Weybridge, Surrey.
Your new company
You will be joining a Global brand in their Europe head office close to Weybridge, Surrey and with easy access to the M25, A3 and local train station. This business is going through significant change and growth and they are keen to identify a talented individual to drive the business alongside the MD.
Your new role
Reporting into the Director, you will be taking on a key role in managing the finances and finance department on a day to day basis, overseeing cashflow, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning as well as travelling Internationally (3/4 times per year) and presenting to the Board. In addition, you'll be recruiting, managing and developing a small team of commercial analysts to support the business as it grows. This is a high profile role where you will be key in setting the vision and driving the long term growth plans.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent), you should be able to demonstrate extensive experience in a broad role covering both commercial strategy as well as the "nuts and bolts" of the finances on a day to day basis. You should be a confident presenter and be comfortable in partnering with non-finance, explaining technical queries and leading a team of accountants. Exposure within a division or large SME across a Europe or wider geography would be a considerable advantage as well as industry exposure within a "tangible" product.
