Have a key role in supporting the existing finance function in developing/streamlining financial processes to eliminate process risk.
Assist the on-site finance function in the preparation of monthly reports for stakeholders.
The business is a global services business that is part of a large corporate Group. They boast a growing multi-billion revenue figure and provide a number of services for their customer network. The site you will be situated on is responsible for supply-chain which supports a variety of FMCG Clients.
It will be essential for the first couple of months to improve internal controls by updating the Internal Control System Questionnaire and Control Frameworks. You will need to renew and test the financial processes in preparation for the yearly audit.
You will also need to be competent in delivering day-to-day accounting activities including forecasting, monthly activities and statutory reporting.
Support the Process Control Framework and ensure there is compliance across all departments.
The successful candidate will be thoroughly a self-starter and will be able to work closely with a variety of stakeholders in the business to ensure process compliance. This will therefore require a strong personality who can task actions when required.
SAP/ERP system experience is essential.
Advanced Excel skills.
