Director of Finance and Resources

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Finance and Resources to join a forward thinking Educational Institution in the North West – one of only 21 Colleges rated outstanding by Ofsted, in the UK. The successful post-holder will be joining a growing organisation with Outstanding financial health, that truly values its people and which has been commended for the exceptional experience and future opportunities it provides to its learners.

Our Director of Finance and Resources will make a full contribution to the development of the College’s strategy and corporate development of the College, by working alongside the Senior Management Team to achieve the strategic aims and targets through the leadership, development and management of Finance, Audits and Data, Purchasing, Health and Safety, Facilities and Legal and Risk Management. We are active in various areas of income, including post-16 Further Education, University Education, commercial and private sector and short and long term deposits.

You will possess a relevant accounting qualification and have significant experience of working at a senior level in a successful organisation, having built and managed substantial budgets, creating and utilising accurate and timely reports.
