Job description
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage timely production of investment performance and risk reports for Trustee in accordance to industry standards.
- Handle performance measurement, risk analysis and attribution analysis and report production.
- Strong understanding of equities, Fixed Income and FX is required as well as the understanding of price movements of each of these asset classes.
- Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment
- strategies.
- Monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks and new investment products.
- Perform ad hoc assignment as and when required.
Qualifications and other requirements
Attributes/Technical Skills
- Knowledge in understanding, modelling and pricing of complex financial instruments such as OTC derivative instruments, Private equity and other securities.
- Strong numerical skills, with excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to ensure effective working relationships with colleagues abroad. Well organised, with an ability to prioritise work and capable to multi-task/work
- under tight timelines.
- Flexible to work across different teams. Exercise control in the review exercise by ensuring compliance to processes and procedures.
Relevant Experience
- Possess at least 2 years' experience as an investment analyst
Education/Memberships
- Degree Quantitative Subject (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or an equivalent qualifications
- Educated to degree level of equivalent professional qualification
Computer Skills
- Proficient user of Microsoft, Excel, Word and Power Point
