Investment Performance Analyst

Job description

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage timely production of investment performance and risk reports for Trustee in accordance to industry standards.
• Handle performance measurement, risk analysis and attribution analysis and report production.
• Strong understanding of equities, Fixed Income and FX is required as well as the understanding of price movements of each of these asset classes.
• Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment
• strategies.
• Monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks and new investment products.
• Perform ad hoc assignment as and when required.

Qualifications and other requirements

Attributes/Technical Skills

• Knowledge in understanding, modelling and pricing of complex financial instruments such as OTC derivative instruments, Private equity and other securities.
• Strong numerical skills, with excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills to ensure effective working relationships with colleagues abroad. Well organised, with an ability to prioritise work and capable to multi-task/work
• under tight timelines.
• Flexible to work across different teams. Exercise control in the review exercise by ensuring compliance to processes and procedures.

Relevant Experience

• Possess at least 2 years' experience as an investment analyst

Education/Memberships

• Degree Quantitative Subject (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or an equivalent qualifications
• Educated to degree level of equivalent professional qualification

Computer Skills

• Proficient user of Microsoft, Excel, Word and Power Point
