Commercial Finance Analyst – Walsall - £50k + Car 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working with a progressive PE backed business. They require an outstanding Commercial Finance Analyst to work in tandem with the Commercial Director of the business to drive bids, tenders and investment appraisal.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director the Commercial Financial Analyst will help to identify new profitable income streams. The individual will also provide financial and analytical support for bids and tenders. In addition they will be able to spot trends ahead of time that could lead to unprofitability so that investment is only steered toward the most lucrative areas.
Additional Responsibilities
•Track spending on capital and major projects
•Work closely with Bids and tenders teams to quantify and price proposals.
•Financial analysis to support directors to ensure high standard results
•Provide added support to the finance team to effectively interpret the numbers
The Ideal Candidate
•ACMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified or a qualified by experience accountant with specific bids and tenders exposure
•Advanced Excel user able to produce custom financial modelling
•Commercial background with proven ability to not only analyse but challenge and push back on investment proposals with C- Suite level stakeholders
