PQ Finance Analyst opportunity in Bristol - Competitive Salary + benefits
Morgan McKinley are currently working with a leading organisation in East Bristol who are looking for an ambitious PQ Finance Analyst to join their busy finance team.
In this role business partnering will be key, you will be building productive relationships across the business and with suppliers. You will be expected to deliver on time and to a high quality in a fast paced dynamic environment. You will work with a range of stakeholders across the business including Procurement, Scheduling, Cost Management, Financial Accounting and FP&A teams.
Key Responsibilities:
In order to be successful in this role you must have previous experience of working within an operations-facing finance team and have had some exposure to Business Partnering. You must have strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, be IT proficient (Excel and PowerPoint) and be at least part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA). Previous experience of Sage X3 is desirable. Previous Project Accounting would also be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary finance point of contact for the designated business areas; providing support and information to enable timely and accurate decision making.
- Perform financial Estimates At Complete (EAC)
- Report programme performance including progress to plan
- Extracting data and compiling performance reports while assisting with preparing variance analyses.
- Calculation of product cost savings from procurement and life cycle cost reduction activities.
- Manage the monthly and quarterly financial forecasting process across designated product groups and take ownership of the submitted forecast.
- Evaluate the potential impact of Risks and Opportunities and support operational teams to identify and implement mitigation plans driving profitability.
- Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations for the business, and support strategy development.
- Actively support and respond to customer queries and audit requests.
- Support external audit.
