Job Description
Overall purpose: The intern will work within the Master Agreement negotiator team and will assist the team in their negotiations. Tasks include reviewing non-disclosure agreements, administrative and clerical tasks surrounding the execution of master agreements (ISDA, CSA, CDEA, GMRA, GMSLA etc.). There will also be an opportunity for the right candidate to learn about Master Agreements, and to undertake basic negotiations. • Undertake basic master agreement negotiations • Providing general clerical and administrative support for the Master Agreement team. • Preparing execution documents. • Handling signature of agreements. • Sending and receiving of original documents to and from counterparties. • Updating the legal database (scanning and uploading agreements, archiving). • General administrative work (printing, photocopying, binding, team room bookings, etc.) • Being the point of contact for legal invoices, liaising with accounts and external law firms. • Updating excel spreadsheets and preparing/editing PowerPoint presentations. Responsible for producing: Negotiating Master Agreements Management information by update databases accordingly Execution copies
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Key skills required: Some previous experience (6 months+) in similar type of role useful. Skills Attention to detail, proactive, accurate, good organizational skills. Ability to multitask. Education Degree qualified in Law or equivalent
