Job Purpose
Data Management & Quantitative Analysis roles compile and synthesize raw market data (e.g., securities, pricing, reference, or other asset class/type data), internal operational data (e.g., client information, KPIs, etc.) and client reference data and perform preliminary calculations for both internal and external clients to be used for more advanced quantitative analyses or reporting. At the higher levels, incumbents will apply preliminary data and analyses, supplement with additional research, and apply advanced statistical and quantitative methodologies to develop advice, reports and business decision support tools to internal and external clients.
This particular Data Management & Quantitative Analysis role involves working very closely with FX Sales & Trading, in order to improve the quality of data being used to manage the Sales & Trading businesses and also partner in using data to drive improved business outcomes. The role will cover interactive continuous improvement around short-term project delivery, as also longer term strategic projects. The candidate will sit on the trading floor and have daily interaction with the FX Sales & Trading.

• excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• knowledge of data analysis tools
• should have advanced skills in Excel and the use of at least one relational database
• knowledge of data modeling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques
• the ability to develop and document procedures and workflows
• the ability to carry out data quality control, validation and linkage
• an understanding of and experience with data protection and data governance principles
• experience with statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
• the ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualizations
• basic knowledge of markets products and processes - ideally FX
• ability to own, drive and manage data centric projects for Markets in the EMEA region

• SQL Server and T-SQL
• Tableau
• programming for data and analytics - Python, R
• kdb (a plus)
