Senior Financial Accountant £45,000-£50,000 per annum + Fantastic Benefits
My client, an industry leading utilities business based in Coventry are currently recruiting a senior financial accountant to join their team. This role would suit anybody who is currently working as a finance manager, reporting accountant, technical management accountant, financial accountant or your first role in industry following 5+ years working for a small/large practice in either audit or accounts preparation.
This role will report straight into the head of reporting/financial accounts and has come about due to an internal promotion. If you are looking to progress your career within a fast paced, modern business, then this could be the role for you!
Key responsibilities will include:
Analysis of all overheads, depreciation and interest, including the analysis of key movement, variance to budget and risks.
Work closely with the head of gross margin to ensure aligned reporting of the full P&L.
Provide commentary for reporting packs and management accounts.
Preparing and delivering the monthly management reporting packs.
Statutory accounts & regulatory reporting.
Oversee and review preparation of tax returns.
Assist the annual audit procedures including preparation of information for internal and external auditors.
The ideal candidate:
ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with 1+ years post qualification experience.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
You will be the go to person in the financial accounting team.
