Number one position within a thriving production company that has been responsible for bringing some fantastic productions to both the small and big screen and this position will partner the founding Directors in all aspects of finance.

The role will primarily be responsible for providing consolidated financial information on a timely manner, alongside annual budgeting, forecasting and working closely with the Head of Production.

The company is looking to bring their finances in house and build a strong and loyal finance team. This company is part of a larger, highly successful Media group and will require liaison with them and submission of financial information.

This is a fantastic position for an experienced Qualified Accountant who has worked in a senior position within a Television or Film production company who is looking for a new and exciting challenge..

The Role:
  • Prepare consolidated annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, annual strategic reviews and long range planning;
  • Prepare management information and KPI submissions;
  • Facilitate high level reporting to group, decision making and company strategy;
  • Manage the annual audit process and oversee preparation of all audit requests;
  • Prepare annual statutory accounts;
  • Manage cashflow, working capital and liquidity of group systems;
  • Prepare financial information to assist with commercial negotiations and advise on financial effective deal structures;
  • Oversee all financial systems, ensuring effective controls and implementing new systems as required;
  • Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts(P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow);
  • Work with the Head of Production, review procedures and ensure best practice.

The Person:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent);
  • Extensive, demonstrated experience gained within the Television or Film industry;
  • Excellent communicator and presenter of information;
  • Hands on, energetic, proactive, self starter who can meet and exceed tight deadlines;
  • Natural team player and leader of people;
  • Strong accuracy and solid consolidations experience;
  • Commercially astute with the ability to influence people in a tactful and credible manner, with sound judgement;
  • Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables and v look ups;
  • Flexible and adaptable approach;
  • An eye for detail.
