A leading global Media business with an outstanding performance, profitability and growth with a notable brand is recruiting a Group Accountant. You will report to the Head group Reporting and be involved in an extensive role including M&A and projects.
Our client is seeking to employ a Group Accountant to work across the company to ensure accuracy and efficiency in statutory reporting. You will have global overall responsibility for all financial reporting processes and controls; group consolidation; governance; projects and will drive continuous improvement and best practice. Our client has a complex and constantly changing corporate structure due to its acquisitive nature which will give this role variety and interest.
You will ensure financial reporting processes are performed accurately and efficiently as the business continues to grow. A significant part of the role will be involved in stakeholder management.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant. Candidates from industry as well as straight from practice will be equally considered. You will possess the ability to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes; have strong consolidation skills. Experience of an International company will be advantageous. Experience in M&A or debt financing will be a distinct advantage.
This role is paying a very strong basic salary, bonus and extensive benefits package. It will be highly competitive. The role is based in central London.
