Manage group finances for African entities of an established industry leader known to develop and nurture its employees

Description
Lead all month, quarter and year end reporting for 8+ African entities
- Statutory accounts preparation (8 sets)
- Constant review and improvement of internal controls, procedures and policies
- Point of contact for Finance and Project managers on the ground to ensure best practice
- Engagement with local audit firms
- Occasional ad-hoc travel to Africa (once every 2 / 3 months)
- Ad-hoc Group treasury management
- Assist entities with financial appraisal of bids as required
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA preferred)
- Group accounting experience
- Good working knowledge of IFRS
- Regional / international reporting experience
eg EMEA / If APAC even more ideal
