Due to growth my client is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to be responsible for the preparation and submission of regulatory returns.

A well known growing SME business in the Saffron Walden area.
Description
- Preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly regulatory returns to the FCA and PRA in a controlled and timely manner. This will include COREP as well as other FCA / PRA regulatory returns
- Complete ownership of daily regulatory monitoring and reporting
- Liaising with other departments including Financial Control, Product Control, Operations and Treasury & to follow up issues arising from daily and monthly reporting
- Support Head of Financial Control on ad-hoc reporting issues e.g. impact of new CRD rules
- Preparation of annual reporting statements and reconciliations to statutory accounts
- Interaction with other finance areas to ensure consistent and accurate reporting
- Responsible for HMRC reporting (BBSI Return, FATCA/ CRS reporting )
Profile
The successful Regulatory Reporting Accountant will:
- Have previous financial accounting, audit or reporting experience; in either a leading audit practice or a commercial business
- Be accountancy qualified, for example ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Have previous regulatory reporting experience in a retail Financial Services or Banking environment
- Have excellent communication (verbal & written), numerical, presentation & organisational skills
- Have the ability to interact, collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to organise, prioritise, manage and deliver under tight or conflicting deadlines
- Advanced Stock MS Excel skills
