We are recruiting a Practising Accountant and a Junior Accountant/Administrator for a growing practise in Woodley, Berkshire.

Our practice is well–established with clients in the UK and Europe has been establishing itself as a multi–discipline firm spanning accounting, audit, tax, due diligence, family office, M&A transaction advisory services, FCA regulation advice and expert witness. The firm has gone from strength to strength not only in turnover but in the number of engagements.

The practice's vision is to deliver the very best multi–discipline services that sets out to not only deliver excellence in the work they produce but also in the client journey they deliver and conversations they have with clients.

Role 1 – Practising Accountant

The role will mainly be to prepare and deliver accounts and tax returns but other day to day duties for the role will include:

Being the main point of contact for a number of designated clients

Account preparation

Handling tax returns

Handling and dealing with client queries

Bookkeeping duties / VAT returns

For this position and with the role involving various duties, the client is looking for CV's with a number of the below aspects:

Seeking candidates part or newly qualified

Will consider candidates qualified by experience

18 months or more experience within Practice is a must

Excellent ability to handle clients face to face or via the telephone and email

Strong communication and time management skills

Role 2 – Junior Accountant/Administrator

Responsibilities and Duties:

Arranging and sorting client documents and information

Filing and archiving

Receiving and sending post

Updating PMS and taxcalc

Telephone answering

Monitoring and ordering stationery and office supplies

Adhoc typing, form–filling

Managing diaries for key people

Onboarding new clients

Attend to HMRC authorisation, CH authentication processes

Data search, information gathering and reporting for Due Diligence engagements

Completing AML risk analysis and preparing onboarding KYC
