Are you a results orientated, experienced accounting professional (5 plus years), with a solid IFRS understanding? Do you have favourable technology knowledge with Oracle and Teradata in a fast paced shared service type environment? If you have the ability to form, lead, develop and motivate high-performing teams and hold valuable experience in balance sheet reconciliation implementation, we have the perfect role for you as a Finance Manager within our Bank Reconciliations Team.

Supporting 11 countries and counting, you will be responsible for providing daily control monitoring of a high volume and complex reconciliation processes. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations in the Financial Operations area including bank, fixed assets and group payroll.

So, what do we need from you?

  • Impressive Communication: Working closely with Financial Reporting & Planning team you will ensure clear handover of responsibility and control, particularly at period end. You will liaise with all levels of the business including internal and external auditors with strong concise communication needed throughout.
  • A thorough eye: You will look for the completeness and accuracy of reconciliations and provide solutions to root causes of control weakness.
  • Process Driven: Your role will involve designing and developing new processes and systems to build an effective standard reconciliation and control environment whist ensuring best practice is maintained throughout.
  • Strong Leadership and Management Skills: Pro-active about managing change and challenging existing procedures and processes to achieve best practice, whist also providing constructive challenge and robust advice to the senior management.
