Key duties:

Support Monthly reporting: AP/PE End Month Report, Monthly Sales & Material Cost Result, Currency Report, HD Conference Slide Cost Movement, Key model cost comparison, Monthly Frozen Cost Update, Monthly P&L, Grand Design P&L and Profit movement by brand

Support Business Plan set up

Support Model Costing (New Development Pre-AQ) including: attending development schedule meetings, capture & provide base model BOM, review new model change points/new model BOM simulation

Support Model Costing (AQ Process)

Support Model Costing (Material/Sales Price uplifts/reductions including: capture base model BOM, confirm std time changes, simulate P&L position using uplifted/reduced material cost & set sales price, share data with Finance Management

Cost control/model cost team work including: check price change requests, cost input data checking, FY P&L Cost Rate Summary

Support in month end closing activities

Provide external bodies with information as required by law and external auditors

Support in budget preparation to include analysing financial performance and contributing to the medium and long

term business planning and forecasts

Support the preparation of departmental expense reports, including variance analysis versus business plan and forecasted positions and commentaries

Evaluation of accruals and prepayments positions relating to expenses in the general ledger including monthly reconciliation and explanations and proof to external auditors

Cost Buster officer, including fortnightly meetings with Cost Buster secretaries of each department, and monthly reports to KABD, quarterly internal report and quarterly meetings with KABD

Internal investigation to Loss cost with a view to creating permanent solutions across all departments

Prepare management accounts for IDSC and upload to Buena Vista (forecast and result)

ONS reports for monthly business, fuel and stock

Consolidated assets and liability report

A flexible approach to take on departmental tasks as and when needed


The ideal candidate:

- ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified

- Experience in manufacturing (essential)

- Experience in management accounts

- Keen to develop and progress

- Ability to business partner effectively with key stakeholders within the business
