Interim Finance Manager
Are you an experienced qualified accountant with year–end experience?Have you previously delivered year end within a charity or not for profit organisation?Do you have experience dealing with restricted funds?If so, Robertson Bell have the role for you.I am looking to recruit an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join a health charity based in London, for an initial period of four months to provide additional support they move through the busy year end period.This role reports to, and supports, the Director of Finance with two independent projects within the finance team. The primary task for this assignment will be to support and ensure a smooth year end, therefore it is imperative you have experience of liaising and interacting with the auditors, and monitoring and delivering to the year–end schedules.You will also be required to manage the charity's restricted fund accounts to ensure all funds are accurately accounted for. This will involve liaising with project managers to ensure information on the restricted funds status is up to date, to allow concise and accurate reports to be distributed. A key part of this task will be to assist project managers throughout the charity with queries and to provide training where necessary, helping them to understand their restricted fund accounts. This interim opportunity will suit an experienced ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant, who has previously worked in a charity or wider not for profit organisation. Due to timings and pressure, you must be able to hit the ground running and will need experience in the production of consolidated Statutory Accounts and dealing with external audit requirements. A working knowledge of Charity SORP is a distinctive advantage. You will need to be immediately available or on a short notice period to be considered for this role.
