Junior Project Manager, EFS Project - 12-Month Max Term Contract

As a Junior Project Manager within the Financial Management Group in our Project Management team, you will have demonstrated experience in project management and experience coordinating and assisting on large complex projects.

Your initial project will be the Economic and Financial Statistics project which delivers accurate reporting, sourced from multiple business systems via a central repository. You will support the project manager and stream leads owning the project budget, including forecast and actuals tracking and the risks and issues log. You will be responsible for ensuring good project hygiene, maintaining the project collaboration sites, such as SharePoint, Confluence and Jira and maintaining team communication channels such as social media and email groups. You will also assist with drafting regular project stakeholder updates, project materials for steering committees and sponsors updates as well as stakeholder engagements, funding requests and other ad-hoc requests. Your role will be stepping in as a delegate for the Project Manager from time to time.

You will have demonstrated experience working on projects in the financial services industry, a proven track record of delivering on project outcomes, a flexible, proactive and positive approach to your work and be able to work with minimal supervision. Your proven experience working on large, financial services projects and your ability to relay information succinctly and with clarity and strong experience in project documentation in all stages of project life cycles including analysis, design, build and test support and implementation will ensure success in this role. Your experience working with Agile will be advantageous.
