The successful incumbent will be responsible for setting up and managing the company's finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks and financial reporting. This role has been created for a new start-up business in Egypt. It is an operational role requiring a start-up experience and it will involve working closely with the country CEO and Group CFO.
• Propose departmental structures
• Hire competent personnel of relevant qualifications
• Establish finance policies and procedures
• Manage the Financial Accounting Transactions
• Monitor the business performance ensuring that operations are running in alignment with the business plan.
• Advise on technological solutions to execute the financial processes
• Establish banking relationships to ensure financing for the green field project.
• Highlight financial-related business risks and propose steps to mitigate them.
• Set up an effective ERP system based on the Group ERP platform
