Financial Controller

As a member for senior management, the Financial Controller will be working closely with the director as as well as being an essential part of the executive team.

Responsibility for all finance matters as well as providing commercial support to other areas of the management team.

Client Details

The business is part of a wider Group, which consists of a number of other businesses within different industries. The busines has a turnover of around £10 million and is now an independently owned manufacturer who are looking to continue their growth by further exploring foreign markets.

Description

You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cash collections and credit control as well as interpreting this data to help drive business performance. Discussions and presentations with the board will help use this data to support business growth.

Process VAT returns and be responsible for the corporate governance of the business. You will need to ensure everything is compliant with regulatory requirements.

The Financial Controller will also be the main point of contact for all financial aspects of the companies commercial relationships which will include customers, business partners, landlords and suppliers.

Profile

The successful candidate will have experience within the manufacturing industry. You will have gained experience within a growing business with understanding of the sector.

Be able to work to tight time frames - you will need to demonstrate this through your sharp intellect and excellent communication skills.

Proactive personality - you will need to anticipate any issues and explore opportunities. This will be furthered by your commercial personality, which will contribute to aspects of business strategy and development.

Job Offer

The opportunity to move into a Group Finance Director role, where you will construct your own finance team on behalf of the business.

£40,000 - £50,000 basic salary

£5,000 car allowance
