Job Description

You'll play a key role in our Client Services team, establishing and maintaining client relationships, monitoring client profitability, risk management and facilitating associated initiatives.

You’ll need to be pro-active, be able to maintain clear communication and have a customer-focus mind so that you have establish the client’s wants and needs. You’ll also need to create and maintain strong and effective relationships with the wider group and designated clients, in order to continue the culture of support and collaboration that we have.

Every day brings a new challenge so you’ll need to be a team player at heart, with an eye for detail, great organisational skills so you can prioritise your day and sometimes with conflicting deadlines that still need to be met.

Having excellent communication skills is key, as you’ll act as the client’s point of escalation. As you’ll be conducting regular profitability reviews of nominated clients, you’ll need to be thorough in all you do, using your own judgment to highlight any significant finds and put forward any recommendations to help us find an appropriate solution.

It is essential that you follow the correct processes and procedures to help us ensure we are compliant with applicable laws, service standards, company policies and procedures. You will need to have a curious mind and use your initiative to identify any risks or concerns ensuring you report them in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
• 3 + years PQE
• 2+ years working in the private equity fund accounting / administration sector
• Strong understanding of the fund accounting underlying accounting principals
• Experience of managing an accounting operations team preferable
• Strong experience managing client relationships and internal client stakeholders
