This is an excellent career opportunity for a Project Assurance professional looking to gain exposure across a broad range of business areas in which Macquarie operates.
As the Global Project Assurance Lead, you will develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the relevant business divisions and establish effective and professional relationships with Senior Management.
You'll update and direct the Internal Audit approach for project assurance, provide hands on delivery of project assurance, work with peers to identify key change across Macquarie and oversee a portfolio of work. You will have the opportunity to develop and coach the Internal Audit team in the skills required to deliver high quality project assurance by enabling others and working towards shared success.
As an Associate Director within the team you will demonstrably and consistently contribute to the Internal Audit Division workplace environment ensuring that all staff feel valued, challenged, and encouraged to contribute.
You will bring with you a strong background as an experienced financial services risk management leader with relevant experience in project assurance and / or delivery of complex programmes.
Your excellent communication skills will be essential to success in this role, which include the ability to negotiate and influence where required and whilst also maintaining a strong sense of empathy and ability to engage a wide number of stakeholders from across the organisation.
The ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual will be important in this role. Qualifications in project management, auditing, or related professional certifications will be beneficial but not essential. You will also be required to undertake international travel, from time to time.
