NC Associates are looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join a global business based in Liverpool. As the Credit Controller you will report directly into the Credit Manager and help support the team reduced aged debt. This role has become available due to an internal promotion.


  • Management of own ledger worth over GBP2 million
  • Managing over 1000 accounts including large key accounts
  • Credit checking new customers
  • Proactively chasing payments from expansive global client base via telephone and email
  • Arranging payment plans
  • Building relationships to ensure current and bad debt is kept to a minimum
  • Prepare management information reports on debt ageing, cash received, debtor days
  • Raising invoices and credit notes as required
  • Setting up direct debits and credit card payments
  • Resolution of associated queries
  • Negotiating payment plans and settlement plans

Essential Experience Required

To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience

  • Proven credit control experience in a business to business capacity
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive approach and able to work from own initiative
  • Strong customer service background and approach
  • Confident communicator
  • Ability to work from own initiative
  • Strong Excel skills– Vlookup & Pivot Tables
