An excellent, multi-sited firm of Chartered Accountants are looking for a Semi-Senior Audit & Accounts candidate to join a friendly and growing team in their offices near Gatwick.

Client Details

My client are a new and growing commercial practice with multiple offices in West Sussex and a quick history of excellent account growth. An opportunity to get in at a junior level for a group that will provide managerial options for its existing staff in the short-term future.

Description

You will be managing your own portfolio of regionally held commercial accounts and audit clients. Working with both audit and accounts disciplines, having the scope to increase your knowledge in both areas whilst receiving on-site training in the large scale SME markets. Working with the managing partner, you will handle all internal client lead matters, handling the full relationship and providing bespoke advice to the accounts portfolio. You will have the opportunity for external visits, working to yr end production and detailing all client correspondence for all technical accounts queries. In addition to the accounts based work, you will be an audit semi-senior, will conduct a wide range of testing and support the lead managers in producing successful and timely audits from initial date through to completion. Clients come from a wide commercial range and the variance in markets will provide you with an excellent technical training ground for your career going forwards.

Profile

You will have a background assisting, or leading on audits as either the main focus of your role, or as an element, alongside accounts preparation and other general accountancy practice service responsibilities . Your background may have been gained in any of Top 4, Mid Tier, Top 50 or large/medium/small independent firm environment and you will be looking to progress your career. You may be ACCA / ACA recently qualified, or part qualified, finalist level Audit and Accounts Semi Senior / Senior.

Job Offer

A competitive salary between £25,000 - £38,000 and excellent training and progression opportunities will be on offer for the successful candidate.
