A leading and highly successful firm of chartered accountants, based in Taunton is searching for a qualified ACA / ACCA Accounts, tax and all round general practice Manager / Senior Manager to join their team, in a role offering excellent progression and development potential.

Description

Joining as Manager / Senior Manager Reporting directly to the partners, you will be responsible for managing delivery of accounts, audit, tax and wide ranging accountancy services to the firm's clients in a portfolio moulded to some degree around the strengths and fit of the right person. You will be responsible for managing teams and individuals to deliver this work and providing coaching and support to junior staff will be a key aspect of the role. You will be responsible for reviewing and finalising work and preparing reports, delivering on wide ranging added value projects from both an accounts and tax perspective. You will have a high commitment to quality and take responsibility for ensuring that quality of service is maintained. This role offers a unique experience to join a thriving accountancy practice firm within the South West in a managerial capacity. In addition to becoming a key part of the team you will have opportunity to take part in business development activities and contribute to the development of the practice as a whole, with associated career progression on offer.

Profile

You will ACA or ACCA qualified (ideally with extensive post qualification experience), gained within accountancy practice from any of Top Tier, Mid Tier, or independent firm, of any size, around Manager / Senior Manager level with a broad range of practical technical experience across accounts, tax etc for varied clients. You will be able to demonstrate an excellent technical accounting knowledge and be looking for an opportunity with a leading firm, where you can carve a key role and progress in your career.

Job Offer

£45,000 - circa £60,000, dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
