The Financial Controller is responsible for managing the day to day operations within the finance team and ensuring that accurate and timely management information is provided to the Leadership team. This is a very hands-on role within a fast-paced commercial environment and would suit someone looking to join a business with a forward-thinking and entrepreneurial mind-set.

Description
The successful Financial Controller will be responsible for:
- Day to day responsibility for the finance function and management of the team
- Production of monthly Management Accounts and Board reports
- Responsible for accurate reporting of revenue, cost of sales, fixed assets, stock as well as the wider Balance Sheet on a monthly basis
- Consolidation of monthly financial accounts and feed into the Board Reporting pack
- Production of subsidiary Statutory Accounts and Consolidated Group Statutory Accounts
- Annual insurance policy renewals
- Commercial analysis and strategic input into the profitability of projects and contracts
- Product pricing input
- Foreign Exchange optimisation
- Annual Tax filings
- Quarterly Full Financial Forecasting
- Annual Budgeting
- Monthly Rolling 13 weeks Cash Flow Forecasting
Profile
The successful candidate should:
Be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
Have experience of or an interest in working in a fast moving Private Equity backed environment
Self-motivated, with a pro-active approach and an ability to deliver to deadlines
Confident and reliable - gets the job done with a 'right first time' mentality
A keen eye for detail, but with the ability to think big and contribute to strategic plans
A great team player, able to work well with people based in different locations, both in the UK and globally
Excellent communication skills, able to break down barriers and explain complex financial information in simple terms; confident presenting both face to face and remotely using appropriate technologies
Up for a challenge! Willing and open to contributing to the Company ethos and values as the business grows
Job Offer
£45,000 - £50,000 (doe) plus benefits
