Position: Accounts Payable Agent

Department: Finance

Reporting To: Supervisor

Contract: 9 month contract

Hours: 20 hours per week

Location: West Cork Technology Park, Clonakilty, West Cork

Job Purpose:

The Accounts Payable Agent role is reporting directly to the supervisor. The role is working in an AP team for a large client

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Process & Match Invoices
• Follow up with buyers on parked invoice queries
• Liaise with suppliers and Invoice Approvers
• Complete creditors reconciliations
  

This list is non-exhaustive and duties may change to reflect the changing needs of the business.

Required Qualifications:

1+ years' experience of accounts payable processing experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in an accounts payable department
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Team oriented person who can focus on the details
• The ability to deal effectively with tight month end closing process.
