As an experienced Manager, you will join our Sydney based Business Advisory Financial Control team. Advise the business and its' CFO on the financial implications of new products, transactions and accounting changes as well as identifying opportunities to optimise balance sheet usage and ultimately maximise financial returns.

In this challenging role, you will assess the impacts of new accounting standards, products and transactions and make appropriate recommendations to the business. Key responsibilities will include assisting in performing periodic product and business reviews to ensure that returns (pre and post-tax) are understood, any opportunities for additional operational or balance sheet efficiencies are identified, and that processes and controls continue to be well designed and are operating effectively.

Your technical skills and qualifications will include a tertiary degree in Accounting or similar, a CA or CPA qualification, while also having knowledge of the application of IFRS and/or US GAAP to complex transactions. You must have knowledge and an understanding of commodities and global financial markets as well as a strong sense of responsibility and ownership when undertaking your work.
