The Assistant Management Accountant will provide the necessary control and support to the product line business managers and sales teams to help drive sound commercial decisions, thereby maximising profitability and reducing business risk. This is a permanent role based in Frome

Description
The Assistant Management Accountant will have specific responsibility for;
- Sales and commercial reporting
- Margin Analysis
- Monthly management reporting
- Sales forecasting
- Royalty, rebate and commission calculations
- Stock provisions
- Product costing
- Support Latest Estimate and Budget preparations as required
You will be expected to work in partnership with the sales team to ensure that a robust commercial approach, which reflects customer demands and product requirements, is always adopted, this includes the maintenance of customer contracts.
The role will provide the necessary control and support to the product line business managers and sales teams to help drive sound commercial decisions, thereby maximising profitability and reducing business risk.
Profile
The successful candidate will be studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA or CIMA) and will have a proven track record in a similar role. Experience in a commercial finance role is essential and manufacturing exposure is preferred.
