Temp/Temp to Perm Finance Manager
This is a great opportunity to work for a growing niche not for profit organisation based in Cardiff city centre
My client is a niche not for profit organisation based in Cardiff city centre
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in the organisation.
As the Finance Manager, you will act as the number 1 in the Finance department and manage 2 members of staff.
As a key member of the senior management team you will be responsible for all finance activities including budgeting, cash flow and management accounting. Other duties will include forecasting, producing monthly management accounts, payroll, production of the annual accounts and transactional finance.
This is a very hands on role in a growing SME organisation.
There will be more to the role than just finance. Working in a small organisation, you will get involved in delivering the overall strategy of the organisation, and your role may develop to include HR and IT.
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant, however this role will also suit a QBE with extensive Financial Management experience in a SME.
You will be a hands on accountant and not a person who locks themselves away in your own office.
You will be very visible in an open plan office and be able to influence, motivate and lead a team of people, deputising for the CEO in their absence.
You will have excellent financial modelling skills.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to manage investors, board members and the relationship with the CEO.
This role is covering the departing Finance Manager until a permanent replacement is found.
The role can be treated as a temp to perm, however a straight temp role will be considered whilst the perm role is recruited for an "Interim".
Salary c£23 per hour.
