Client Details

Founded by John Dawson in 1996, Alliance has since spent the last twenty years developing their international presence. In 1998, the business took over the marketing and distribution of 16 Novartis specialty prescription brands and has since impressively grown into owning and licensing the rights to over 90 products.

Over the years, the business has developed at an exciting rate, through a combination of targeted acquisitions and organic growth, floating on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange in 2003.

In more recent years, the company has lucratively broadened its product portfolio. Although their initial and established niche prescription products still constitute the bulk of their business, Alliance's portfolio now also includes a number of medical devices and consumer products, covering a wide range of therapy areas.

Alliance has completed a total of 34 acquisitions to date and is continuously growing its international footprint. The company now has direct presence in France, Germany, the Republic of Ireland and China with a group turnover of over £100mn. Alliance's UK Head Office based in Chippenham, Wiltshire is the main employer in the area, with plans to further expand.

With a focus on the future, Alliance are keen to bring Finance to the front of the business and are investing heavily in the FP&A team. The Financial Planning Analyst will play a big part in building relationships with internal stake holders.
