The client, a global retailer that specialise in the production of party products, are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team as an Assistant Accountant. Their team is based in South West London (Stockwell) and they are looking for someone with similar experience to join the team.

The client, based in South West London (Stockwell), specialise in the production of party products (accessories, gifts etc). They are a global company, that operate within North America, Europe and the UK. They are looking for someone to join their team, on a permanent basis, as an Assistant Accountant.

Description

The successful Assistant Accountant will be doing:

• Bank reconciliations
• Daily invoice reconciliations
• Analysis of sales ledger invoices
• Managing the Sales and Purchase Ledger
• Petty Cash re-allocation
• Month-end assistance
• Reporting
• Variance analysis
• Additional ad hoc tasks

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant will:

• Have approximately 2-3 years of experience working in a Finance team
• Will ideally have experience working in a similar industry
• Will have analysis, budgeting and/or forecasting experience
• Will have experience with both the sales and purchase ledger
• Will have excellent communication skills
• Strong Excel skills (Summifs, Macros, VBA etc)
